Location:

Buckie Thistle football club is located in the fishing town of Buckie, some 60 miles north of Aberdeen and 60 miles east of Inverness

The football club is member of the Highland league which consists of 18 teams from as far north as Wick to as far south and west as Fort William

The football club location is on midmar street next to the high school and leisure complex.

The Previous Buckie Thistle Supporters social club now known as Gran Central is now under New Management, Most Fans gather here before away matches as the Buses leave from outside this establishment.

All supporters club meetings are held (courtesy of the football club) at the ground

Easiest approach is by way of the A98 , turn of at sign for town centre, follow the road for 1 mile until sign for Old Coach house hotel, turn left at hotel on to West Cathcart street, follow road for 200 yards and turn left before high school, football club is directly ahead.

Bus links are available from both Aberdeen and Inverness

Nearest rail link is at Keith some 12 miles distance which has  a link with both Aberdeen and Inverness Rail Stations

 Buses are available to Keith station- times vary

Taxis firms are plentiful but there is no public taxi rank in the town,

Car Parking at Ground

Car parking at the football ground is limited, Disabled parking spaces inside the  ground at the east end  are available , please contact the football club in advance if parking is required

On match days the areas around midmar street and the ground are  very busy so it is highly  recommended that you park your vehicle and walk to the ground

 


 

Ground Entry and exit:

Certain games are subject to segregation measures to ensure the safety of all attending

This is usually during Scottish cup and certain highland league games

Home supporters usually enter and exit at the West end of the ground with visiting supporters enter and exit at the East end of the ground if segregation for a particular game is in place, Signs and stewards will be in place to advise and assist  as necessary
